Gearóid’s Biography
Gearoid played underage football at Salthill Devon from the age of seven and played in the Salthill side that reached the final of the 2009 A Championship. He was a key member of the Salthill defence when they played their debut League of Ireland season in 2010 and made a total of 24 league appearances that season.
Gearoid made a further 16 league appearances for Salthill in 2011 and remained a member of the senior squad in 2012. By the start of 2013 work pressure had ruled Gearoid out of contention for Tony Mannion's First Division squad.
