Wexford Youths take on Collinstown FC tonight in the Leinster Senior Cup Semi-Final with both teams fighting it out for a place in the final, it is sure to make for an enthralling encounter. KO 8pm.
WEXFORD YOUTHS
Shane Keegan will likely field a mixture of youth and experience for this clash as he hopes to keep his squad fresh for big ties in the Premier Division and FAI Cup in the coming weeks.
Having said that, Youths will be in flying form having recorded the biggest win of their Premier Division lives so far on Friday night with a two goal victory over Shamrock Rovers.
COLLINSTOWN FC
Collinstown overcame Bray and Shamrock Rovers to get to this stage of the competition and they will be confident that with a team that is clearly confident of causing an upset, that another potential one could be on the cards here.
Dean Ebbe has been in inspired form thus far in the competition and will no doubt be confident of providing the goods again. Ebbe opted to drop down to the Leinster Senior League side in September 2014 after stints at Longford, Athlone and Shamrock Rovers but he remerged with Cabinteely following the South Dublin club joining the League of Ireland. However due to an admin error the club were subsequently fined for playing Ebbe in a game against UCD when he was ineligible and the striker swiftly departed to re-join Collinstown where he has been ever since.
Referee: None.
