LONGFORD TOWN
Longford will be looking to register their first home points of the 2015 season, as they entertain former Town boss Alan Matthews and his Bray side on Tuesday evening.
The fixture computer hasn't been kind to Tony Cousins' side. It handed them a trip to Premier Division Champions Dundalk, before a home tie against a rejuvenated Shamrock Rovers team, both of which ended in defeat.
However, The Town did get off the mark on Saturday night, as a brace from striker David O'Sullivan helped them to a 2-2 draw against Martin Russell's struggling Limerick side.
By managing to keep the likes of Pat Flynn and Stephen Rice, while simultaneously adding players like Conor Powell, Town boss Cousins has secured quite an experienced squad for the midlands club's first season back in the Premier Division since 2007.
With such experience on board, Cousins will be looking for his side to pick up wins in an urgent manner, in order to tame any early relegation fears.
BRAY WANDERERS
Despite assembling some reputable League of Ireland talent, Alan Matthews' side have endured quite a difficult start to their 2015 Premier Division Campaign.
Matthews did some strude business in the off-season, bringing in defender Alan McNally from Drogheda United, Ryan McEvoy from Bohemians and Chris Lyons from Shamrock Rovers.
However, his signings don't seem to have had the desired effect.
The Seagulls have played five competitive fixtures to date, including a defeat to Leinster Senior League side Crumlin United in their EA Sports Cup first round tie.
Matthews will want to nip this poor early run of form in the bud and start picking up points on Tuesday night, in order to avoid his side being cast adrift at the bottom of the Premier Division table.
David Cassidy will miss the trip to the City Calling Stadium with a foot injury; while Peter McGlynn and Dave Scully are both doubts for the fixture after picking up groin and knee injuries respectively in last Saturday's defeat to Bohemians.
