- Sat, Feb 15 2014
CHAMPIONS Raheny United host DLR Waves looking to maintain their title push upon the resumption of league action on Saturday night.
United welcome back Rachel Graham and Sinead O'Farrelly but Louise Kearney and Pearl Slattery is ruled out. Leanne Payne should make her debut. Noelle Murray is suspended.
"DLR have a bit of pace and are a decent young team. The weather could have an impact. The unpredictable can happen so we'll have to keep our concentration and defend correctly," said Raheny coach Casey McQuillan.
DLR Waves have a full strength squad to choose from outside of Niamh Connolly, who faces a fitness test, while Danni Scales returns after concussion.
"We know what to expect. It'll be our hardest game of the season and we have to be as positive as we can. It's about a fresh start for this round of matches and looking for a renewed enthusiasm from all of our players," said DLR coach Larry Mahony.
