After the thrills and spills of 2010, Bray Wanderers will be looking for a smoother outing this time round. The Lazarus-like miracle that occurred at the end of last season down at the Carlisle Grounds is still fresh in the minds of players and fans alike, the 4-0 drubbing of Galway in September turned the tide for the Seasiders, however a lack of new players could mean more of the same for now fulltime manager Pat Devlin.

Home form is likely to be vital for Bray to ensure survival but the uncertainties surrounding other clubs, namely Drogheda United and Galway United, means Wanderers should have enough to stay away from 12th spot. Daire Doyle and Gary Dempsey will be vital to their chances, while some of the younger members of the squad should also show some big improvements on last year. Don’t expect miracles, but they won’t be bottom either.

ExtraTime Prediction: 8th.
