AFC Bournemouth have bolstered their squad with the acquisition of winger Luis Sinisterra on a season-long loan, also opening up an option for a potential permanent deal.

As part of the agreement, Jaidon Anthony will head in the opposite direction on a loan basis.

Sinisterra's arrival marks Bournemouth's eighth signing this summer.

The Colombian international, with three goals from seven outings for his country, will reunite with Tyler Adams, another recent addition from Leeds.

Commenting on the new addition, AFC Bournemouth chief executive Neill Blake stated, “We’re delighted to bring Luis to the club and I have no doubt that he’ll be a superb addition to our squad. He’s a player that has already experienced Premier League football and has featured at the top level in Europe too, so we’re really looking forward to having him with us.”

Originating from Santander de Quiliachao, Sinisterra's football journey began with the Colombian premier division team, Once Caldas.

His debut for them was in 2016. His performances caught European eyes, leading him to sign with Feyenoord in 2018.

During his stint with the Dutch club, he played alongside current Bournemouth centre-back Marcos Senesi for three seasons starting from 2019.

Sinisterra's record of 22 goals in 103 matches for Feyenoord made an impression on Leeds United, leading to his signing in 2022.

During his tenure at Leeds, he made a mark by netting eight goals in 27 appearances.
