McEvoy and McNally are headed to the Carlisle Grounds

Bray Wanderers manager Alan Mathews has added further depth to his squad ahead of the forthcoming season with the double signing of Ryan McEvoy from Bohemians and Alan McNally from Drogheda United.

Midfielder McEvoy joins Bray from the Gypsies after six years at the club having made his first team debut for the Dalymount Park outfit in a 4-3 EA Sports Cup win over Shelbourne in May 2009. Following loan spells at Longford Town and Athlone Town in 2010, McEvoy returned to the Dublin club in 2011 where he made four substitute league appearances in the latter half of the season before going on to make a further 19 league appearances in the 2012 league campaign.

Since establishing himself at the Phibsborough club, McEvoy has chipped in with some wonder strikes from the middle of the park for the men from north of the Liffey and with that in mind, you can be sure the Wanderers faithful will be hoping he can replicate his recent good form during the upcoming season.

A vastly experienced campaigner with League of Ireland experience stretching back as far as 1999 when he joined UCD from Fairview Park schoolboy football nursery Belvedere, centre-half Alan McNally will add some much needed steel to the Seagulls' rearguard. McNally, who has also lined out as a midfielder in the past, has previously played under Mathews having been signed and made captain by the former Shamrock Rovers player at Drogheda in 2009.

The arrival of both players at the Carlisle Grounds brings the number of new recruits at the club so far this off-season up to seven following the recent captures of Hugh Douglas (UCD), Chris Lyons (Shamrock Rovers B), Jack Memery (Shelbourne), Daniel O'Reilly (Bishops Stratford FC) and Peter Durrad (St. Patrick's Athletic).
