Shelbourne sign three for 2014 season

Shelbourne have confirmed Johnny McDonnell's first three signings for the 2014 First Division season.

Brian Gannon and Stephen Sheerin have both re-signed for the club and have been joined by Philip Hand who joins from Drogheda United. 

Gannon joined Shels from Drogheda in July last and made seven league appearances and one in the Leinster Senior Cup. Prior to leaving Drogheda, he had played with the Co. Louth club in 15 league games, four Setanta Cup games and once in the EA League Cup competition.

Philip Hand made 15 appearances with Drogheda United last season, together with two in the FAI Cup, two in the Setanta, one in the EA Cup and one in the Europa Cup.

Stephen Sheerin will play in his third season with Reds, having joined the U19s in 2012. Last season he played in five league games, two in the FAI Cup and three in the Leinster Senior Cup.
