Brian Gannon departs Drogheda

Brian Gannon has today departed Drogheda United for Shelbourne after three years of service to the club.
A talented defender, and a very popular character with both fans and fellow team-mates, Gannon joined Drogheda from Sporting Fingal in 2011 having previously played for Bohemians (where he won the young player of the year award in his first season), UCD and Monaghan United. Last year he played in Drogheda’s EA Sports Cup winning side that beat Shamrock Rovers 3-1.
The Board of Drogheda United wishes to thank Brian for his dedication to the club over the last three years and wishes him the very best of luck with his future career.
