About Mark Rossiter
Born in Galway, Mark began his professional career at Sunderland in 2002 and made his debut for the Black Cats against Arsenal was an exciting prospect at Sunderland, making his senior debut in a 3-2 league Cup win away to Arsenal on 6 November 2002. However, a serious knee injury brought a halt to his promising career and he was released by the club in 2004.
Having been given the all-clear to resume playing, he signed for Sean Connor at Bohemians on a part-time basis in December 2006. He went on to win two league titles with the Phibsboro club in 2008 and 2009 and also won an FAI Cup winner's medal in 2008.
At the end of 2010 Mark's contract at Bohemians ended and he was released by the club with 88 league appearances and seven goals to his name. Then, as the 2011 season approached, he was re-signed by Pat Fenlon and remained at Bohemians for the 2011 season, adding a further 23 league appearances to his career tally.
In January 2012 Mark confirmed a move across Dublin to St Patrick's Athletic.
