David’s Biography
Nicknamed "Rio" David began his LoI career at Kilkenny City in 1996 having played junior football in Waterford with Bohemians and Johnville.
He stayed with Kilkenny City until 1999 at which point he signed for Waterford United. He spent six years at Waterford before transferring to Cobh Ramblers in January 2006. In 2007 he returned for a second spell at Waterford United which lasted for two seasons before he moved on to Wexford Youths at the start of 2009.
Halfway through the 2010 season he signed for Brendan Place at Athlone Town but in January of 2011 he returned, once again, to Waterford United.
He works as manager of Alfie Hales Sports Shop and says that Glen Crowe is his most difficult opponent.
