Robbie’s Biography

Robbie began his career with a three year stint at Blackburn Rovers, which included loan spells at Huddersfield Town and Oldham Athletic.

In 2001 he returned to Dublin where he had a brief spell at St Patrick's Athletic before signing for Bray Wanderers at the start of the 2001/02 season.

Robbie moved to UCD for the 2002/3 season where he was signed by Paul Doolin. In 2003 he moved across the city to Bohemians where he played under Stephen Kenny until the pair fell out in the summer of 2004, at which point he returned to St Patrick's Athletic.

2004 and 2005 were spent at Richmond Park but Robbie was back at Bray Wanderers for the 2006 season. In January 2007 he was signed for Macclesfield Town by Paul Ince, where he played until the end of their season in the summer of '07.

His next port of call was Dundalk, where his scored 35 minutes into his debut against Kildare County in July 2007. Released by Dundalk at the end of '07, Robbie then joined Sporting Fingal in January 2008, where he spent the following two seasons.

In March 2010 Robbie signed for a third time at Bray Wanderers where he made a total of 20 league appearances and scored two league goals. He was released by Bray at the end of the 2010 season.
