David’s Biography

David Scullion is a Northern Irish footballer, currently playing for Coleraine.

He began his career with Portadown, before being snapped up by Aston Villa after just 10 league appearances. The young midfielder featured in Villa's 2002 FA Youth Cup win, but was unable to break into the first team, returning home, first to Glenavon before joining Dungannon Swifts.

After three years at Dungannon David spent a further two seasons at Glentoran before signing for Derry City in February 2009. He made 19 league appearances for the Candystripes, scoring two goals, before moving to Australia at the end of the season to play for Richmond SC.

In July 2010 David returned to Ireland to sign for Coleraine and later joined Glentoran.

David is a former Northern Ireland U21 International.
