Derek’s Biography
Derek spent 2008 as the regular right back with Liam Buckley's Sporting Fingal in their debut league season. In 2009 he moved on to Athlone Town, playing under Brendan Place. The following year he signed for Longford Town, arriving at Flancare Park in January 2010. That would be Derek's only season with Longford and he was not retained for the 2011 season.
