James’s Biography
Right-back James made his debut for Finn Harps in October 2006 in a 2-0 victory over Kilkenny City during the final days of Anthony Gorman’s term as Harps Manager. He made another handful of appearances in 2007 before leaving the club in August 2008 to play with Newry City in the Irish League.
James returned to Harps in July 2009, playing 8 games over the latter part of the season. In 2010 he made 33 league appearances for Harps, adding 13 more in 2011. The following season saw James appear in 24 of Harps's league games while he made 16 league appearances in 2013. Under new manager Ollie Horgan James made 7 league appearances and scored once, in the 5-0 win over Cobh Ramblers, before leaving the club in May 2014 due to work commitments.
