Andy’s Biography

Andy came through the under age ranks at St Patrick's Athletic and made his senior debut for the club on 21 April 2008 during a League Cup game against UCD. That summer he went on loan to Monaghan United where he scored seven times in 13 league appearances.

At the start of 2010 Andy went on loan to Shelbourne but a dislocated shoulder limited him to a single appearance in the Leinster Senior Cup. That summer he left St Pats having made nine league appearances in his time at the club.

In the summer transfer window of 2010 he signed for Brendan Place at Athlone Town and scored three goals in eight starts for the club.

In February 2011 he re-joined Mick Cooke at Monaghan United, but within weeks Cooke had gone, taking the job at Drogheda United. In came Roddy Collins and Andy found himself confined to the bench, making only 3 substitute appearances in the league that year, and one start, in a 5-0 defeat to Limerick FC in the EA Sports Cup quarter-finals.

Andy was released by Monaghan in July 2011.
