Stephen O'Brien

It was announced on January 27th 2007 that Stephen had signed for Shamrock Rovers. At the end of the 2006, Stephen retired from senior football having left Bohemians. Stephen signed for Bohemians from Longford Town in Janauary 2006. Although Stephen "Digger" O'Brien is one of he smallest goalkeepers in the Premier League, he is also one of the best shot stoppers in the business. Former Youth International who played with Gillingham & Shelbourne, Stephen joined Longford Town in 1997. He received FAI Cup Winners medals in 2003 & 2004, being captain on the second occasion. He also won a league Cup Winners medal in 2003 and had played in the UEFA Cup with Longford. Stephen runs his own company in the fire and security sector. .
