Mike’s Biography
Mike began his career at Galway United in 1995 and scored on his debut against Sligo Rovers at the Showgrounds on 23 September '95. He spent ten years at the club before leaving in 2005 and in that time he made over 200 appearances for the club, also playing in two FAI Cup semi-finals.
Having left Galway he joined local side Salthill Devon as player/coach of the club's U21 side for the 2005/06 season. Since then he has continued to play, alongside his role as a mentor to the club's young players.
He was involved in Salthill's A Championship campaigns of 2008 and 2009, and also made 13 league appearances in the club's debut League of Ireland season of 2010.
In the summer of 2011 Mike took up the position of manager of Salthill's U19 squad for their 2011/12 season.
