Scott’s Biography
Scott is a goalkeeper who joined the youth ranks at Athlone Town from local side Willow Park. He made his senior debut in a 3-2 win over Sporting Fingal at Morten Stadium on 7 November 2009.
Scott became first choice keeper for the Athlone U20 team but remained an understudy for the first team, acting as an unused substitute 40 times over the 2010 and 2011 seasons. He remained a part of Mike Kerley's squad for 2012 even though injuries and the arrival of Pat Jennings restricted him to just two further appearances as an unused substitute.
