Tony’s Biography

Tony began his senior career at Kilkenny City in 2005 where he made 10 league appearances over the next two seasons before moving to Crumlin United in 2007.

Tony played for Crumlin United in their FAI Cup campaign of 2009 when the LSL club beat Shelbourne in the third round after a replay. Crumlin lost out to Waterford United in the fourth round, again after a replay, and Tony duly signed for Dermot Keely at Shelbourne on 31st July 2009.

Tony made his debut for Shels against Longford Town on 8th August 2009 and made 13 league appearances over the remainder of the season, scoring 4 goals. But he left the First Division club at the end of that season, returning to Crumlin United.

In January 2012 Tony signed for Roddy Collins at Monaghan United and he made his debut for the club against Dundalk at Gortakeegan on 2 March. On 18 June Monaghan withdrew from the league but Tony quickly signed for Longford Town, making his debut as a late substitute against Mervue United on 29 June. He made 14 league appearances as the club made it to the promotion play-offs but were beaten over two legs by Waterford United.

In the Autumn of 2012 Tony joined Leinster Senior League side Bluebell United.
