Dean ’s Biography

Dean started the 2009 season at Bohemians and appeared as a substitute in a League Cup tie against Shelbourne in May.

Dean signed for Sligo Rovers in July of 2009 and made his first league appearance for the club in a 3-1 away defeat to Shamrock Rovers on 18th July. By the end of the season he had made 13 league appearances and scored two goals.

In 2010 Dean made just 4 league appearances for Sligo, scoring once, and in the summer transfer window he signed for Brendan Place at Athlone Town. He made his league debut for Athlone in an extraordinary 6-3 defeat away to Shelbourne but by the season's end he had made just 4 league appearances for the midlands club.

In January 2011 Dean signed for Martin Russell at UCD and went on to play in all 36 of the club's league games that year, also managing to bag five goals along the way.

In January of 2012 Dean made the move to Drogheda United and scored on his debut, a 2-1 home defeat to Shamrock Rovers on the opening night of the season. He scored again against Bray Wanderers in late March but made just 7 league appearances before leaving the club by mutual consent in July 2012.

On 27 July it was confirmed that Dean had signed for Bray Wanderers for the remainder of the 2012 season. He made his debut for the club against Bohemians at Dalymount Park on 3 August and made 10 league appearances, scoring once in a 3-1 defeat to his former club Drogheda United.

In February 2013 Dean played with Longford Town during their pre-season friendlies but he was not part of the club's subsequent league squad.
