Mark’s Biography
Mark Boyd came to Sligo Rovers in July 2007, when signed by new boss Paul Cook.
Cook says of his new signing "Mark is a fantastically talented central midfielder who, when up to pace, will prove very influential".
Boyd's previous clubs included Southport, Accrington Stanley,Macclesfield Town (loan), Gretna, Carlisle United, Port Vale and Newcastle United.
