Michael’s Biography
Mick is a forward who played Junior football with Ballina Town. He also represented the Mayo League side in the 2013 EA Sports Cup. In July 2013 Michael signed for Johnny Glynn at Mervue United in July 2013 and made his debut in the 2-1 win over Salthill Devon on 6 July. His first goal for the club was the winner against Longford Town on 27 September and he made 11 league appearances as well as playing in both of Mervue's promotion play-off games against Longford.
Mervue ceded their league place to the new club Galway FC in 2014 and Michael moved on, signing for Johnny McDonnell at Shelbourne in January 2014. He made his debut for the Reds in a 2-0 win over Wexford Youths on 7 March 2014 but he left Shelbourne in June 2014 after making 5 league and cup appearances for the club.
Michael the represented the Mayo League in their 2017 EA Cup campaign.
