Patrick’s Biography

Paddy is a Waterford native who joined SPL side Dundee United in October of 2012. He returned to the South East in the summer of 2013 to join Waterford United on a loan spell. He played eleven times for Waterford in the First Division as they just missed out on the play-offs.

Paddy signed a permanent deal at the RSC in 2014 and scored his first league goal for the club against Shamrock Rovers B in April. He scored three league goals for the Blues that season before leaving the club in July having made a total of 28 league appearances. Shortly after quitting Waterford in July 2014, he signed for Tommy Dunne at Galway FC.

Paddy went on to start in all nine of Galway's remaining games, scoring one goal which led to a 1-0 win over his former club Waterford, as they qualified for the play-offs. He also went on to play in all the play-off games, scoring Galway's first goal in their 2-1 win over UCD in the first leg of the play-off final, as Galway gained promotion to the Premier Division.

In November 2014, Paddy signed for the league champions Dundalk under manager Stephen Kenny. He went on to make 11 league appearances for the Lilywhites as they once more won the Premier Division title and was also an unused substitute in the club's FAI Cup final win over Cork City.

In 2016 Paddy made 13 League appearances for Dundalk, scoring three times, as they hit new found heights by winning their third consecutive League title. He made an additional 7 appearances in Dundalk's run to the group stage of the Europa League and was, again, an unused sub on FAI Cup final day, although the Lilywhites lost to Cork City.

In November 2017 Paddy revealed he had left Dundalk after his contract had concluded having spent the second half of the 2017 campaign on loan at First Division Waterford FC. Paddy then signed for USL side FC Cincinatti.

In February 2021, Paddy signed for St Patrick's Athletic and had two years at Richmond Park before ending his time with the Saints in December 2022.
