Jonas’s Biography
Jonas is a Swedish defender who plays for English side West Bromwich Albion.
Jonas began his professional career at home town club Landskrona BoIS in 2003. In two seasons at the club he made 56 league appearances and scored once, before moving to Dutch side NEC Nijmegen in the summer of 2005.
He spent three seasons in the Netherlands, scoring five times in 93 league appearances with Nijmegen, and in August 2008 he signed for West Bromwich Albion who had just been promoted to the Premier League under manager Tony Mowbray. Jonas has since made over 100 league appearances for the 'Baggies'.
Jonas made his Swedish international debut in a 1-0 win over Belarus in June 2010.
