Par came through the youth ranks at Helsingborgs IF where he broke into the first team in 2009. In 2011 Par was first choice keeper as Helsingborgs won the Swedish league and cup double.
He made his first appearance with the Swedish national side in a friendly against Botswana in January 2011.
