Jessica’s Biography
Jessica Gleeson was part of the Wexford Youths Womens squad for the inaugural Women's National League in 2011. She played for Wexford in the Champions League during the 2015/16 season and spent seven years at the club before leaving in 2018 to join Shelbourne.
Jessica then spent three seasons with Shelbourne before signing for DLR Waves in 2021. In her first season with the Waves, Jessica started all 25 of the club's league and cup matches, scoring twice. And in 2022 she made 21 appearances before injury ended her season.
She returned to the DLR team in 2023 and was again ever-present at the heart of their defence, adding 25 games to her career total.
