Craig’s Biography

Craig was a part of Liverpool's youth academy and played against Bray Wanderers as part of a Liverpool XI in July 2011 alongside the likes of Raheem Sterling and Brad Smith. He went out on loan to Carlisle United in November 2013, making one league appearance in a 4-1 win against Tranmere Rovers before returning to Liverpool in January 2014. He then moved on loan to Accrington Stanley in the same month but a training injury cut short his season before he could make an appearance.

Craig was released by Liverpool at the end of the 2013/14 season and he signed for Accrington Stanley on a short term deal in November 2014. He made one appearance in a 0-0 draw with Notts County in the FA Cup before leaving the club in January 2015 in search of game time. In February of that year Craig signed for Northern Premier League side Witton Albion.

Craig went on to make five appearances for Witton before the season's end and re-signed for the 2015/16 season, making a further three appearances before he left Witton Albion at the start of January 2016. Towards the end of the month, after a successful trial, Craig signed for Dave Robertson at Sligo Rovers.

Craig made his debut for Sligo Rovers on the opening weekend of the 2016 season against Shamrock Rovers and went on to captain the side to fifth place in the Premier Division. He finished the season with 28 league appearances and signed an new contract with the club for 2017. In April 2018, the club announced that Craig had departed via mutual consent.
