Gareth’s Biography

Gareth began his schoolboy career playing for Nufarm Athletic in Knocknaheeny on the Northside of Cork City. He joined Cobh Ramblers in 2005 and was part of the first team squad in 2007 when the club won the First Division title. In July 2008 he left the club to join Cork City, making his debut in a Seatanta Cup win away to Cliftonville on 1 September, but he was released at the end of the '08 season.

In January 2009 Gareth signed up with Munster Senior League side St Mary's but he was back at Turner's Cross in July of that year, playing for Cork City until the end of the 2009 season. In 2010 Gareth signed for his former Ramblers boss Stephen Henderson at Waterford United, but he was released in June of that year, returning for another spell at Cork City in July 2010.

In 2012/13 Gareth was part of the College Corinthians side that qualified for the 2013 FAI Cup but he left the club in the summer of 2013. He later was a part of the Rockmount squad that played against Cork City in the Munster Senior Cup in January 2016.
