Game Matchtracker

Bray Wanderers 2 - 1 Bohemians
90' + 5' - Full Time - A couple of hopeful balls into the area from Bohs' full-backs end the game and Bray take the three points, and they are well deserved - 2-1.
Bray Wanderers 2 - 1 Bohemians
90' + 4' - It's all Bray, they should have put it away! Jonathan Kelty plays in a breaking Dane Massey, but his low cross shot is saved by a busy Craig Sexton. IT shiould be over any minute now but if anyone is scoring it's Bray.
Bray Wanderers 2 - 1 Bohemians
90' + 3' - John Mulroy takes the ball around the Bohs defence and cuts it across but it doesn't find anyone... Bohs break but lose it and Bray come back again and Mulroy, as energetic as an hour ago, gets a shot away in the box but it is well saved by Craig Sexton.
Bray Wanderers 2 - 1 Bohemians
90' + 1' - There will be a minimum of five minutes of injury time but Bray are doing a good job of wasting some of that in the corner at the moment. They are containing Bohs well.
Bray Wanderers 2 - 1 Bohemians
89' - The abuse the Bohs fans can give is quite heavy. I'm a fragile sort but this is really a bit much. The swearing, the hatred. I can only imagine how bad it is if they play a rival side like Shamrock Rovers. Although I suppose Bray and Bohs are more direct rivals these days, both desperate to stay in the League this season... On that front, Bray will go ahead of their survival rivals unless the visitors can grab an equaliser fast!
Bray Wanderers 2 - 1 Bohemians
87' - And time is running out for Bohs. Bray are extremely solid and aren't giving anything away. If anything, they look more likely to grab a winner on the break – until, Karl Moore hits a half volley from a Kevin Knight headed clearance. His 25 yard effort beats an outstretched Darren Quigley but also beats the post, going wide to the 'keeper's right at waist height.
Bray Wanderers 2 - 1 Bohemians
83' - Substitution - Bray Sub - But there is Marty Waters going off for Jonathan Kelty after putting in another excellent shift for the team. He's fast, versatile and tenacious, a gem for Bray.

83' - But there is Marty Waters going off for Jonathan Kelty after putting in another excellent shift for the team. He's fast, versatile and tenacious, a gem for Bray.
Bray Wanderers 2 - 1 Bohemians
81' - So with ten minutes to play, Bohs have used all their subs and Bray have only used one (Sean Houston has just been nutmegged by Keith Buckley). The visitors are giving it their all here but the more they give, the more dangerous the pace of Marty Waters could be on the break.
Bray Wanderers 2 - 1 Bohemians
78' - Substitution - Bohemians Sub - "What's f***ing wrong now, you ****?!" - He's just stopping the game for Dwayne Wilson to come on for Peter McMahon. The referee can hardly help that.
Bray Wanderers 2 - 1 Bohemians
76' - Substitution - Bray Sub - The injured Adam Hanlon comes off for Sean Houston. He's probably faking it, if the Bohs fans are to be believed. It's an elaborate hoax. The press box being in the away stand in the Carlisle, we are often treated to the dulcet sounds of the away fans. I'm sure the Bray fans are just as biased, I just can't hear them.
Bray Wanderers 2 - 1 Bohemians
75' - An Adam Hanlon injury really draws the ire of the Bohs fans. The cheek of him. But Bohs are pressing and have had a series of corners, but still can't get the goal back. The chances are becoming more clear though, Evan McMillan with the latest header. He couldn't get it on target though.
Bray Wanderers 2 - 1 Bohemians
68' - Substitution - Bohemians Sub - Karl Moore comes on for Adam Martin on the Bohs side, as the visitors move to attack the final 20 minutes.
Bray Wanderers 2 - 1 Bohemians
63' - Yellow Card - Bray's Pierce Sweeney gets a yellow card for pulling back Dinny Corcoran. Fair yellow.
Bray Wanderers 2 - 1 Bohemians
61' - The goal went as follows: A Kevin Knight cross found Jason Byrne, he headed it, only for John Mulroy to head it back across again. Danny O'Connor managed to get the final touch with his right peg, much to the frustration of the Bohs fans who are screaming for bookings and penalties and penalty goals and the like.
Bray Wanderers 2 - 1 Bohemians
60' - Goal - And Danny O'Connor puts the ball in the net to give Bray the lead again!
Bray Wanderers 1 - 1 Bohemians
59' - Yellow Card - And another yellow, but this time for Bohs. Derek Pender fouls Marty Waters.
Bray Wanderers 1 - 1 Bohemians
56' - Yellow Card - A yellow for handball for Bray defender Dave Webster.
Bray Wanderers 2 - 1 Bohemians
54' - A free at the edge of the Bray area is hit by Keith Ward. His effort troubles Darren Quigley, and the Bray 'keeper spills it, only for Danny O'COnnor to be the first man awake again. The visitors are having a decent spell now but will be kicking themselves that they haven't been more clinical, especially with chances proving so rare this evening.

Bray Wanderers 1 - 1 Bohemians
51' - Danny O'Connor gets in just in the nick of time at a dangerous moment in the Bray penalty area to get it away for a corner. The resulting set piece finds Kevin Feely's head but his effort is right at Darren Quigley.
Bray Wanderers 1 - 1 Bohemians
49' - Aaron Callaghan wasn't wrong when he said that these teams are similar. A few experienced guys mixed with a largely young and inexperienced squad for both clubs. They also play similarly, preferring to keep things on the grounds with quick passing. They're very even too, cancelling each other out for the moment.
Bray Wanderers 1 - 1 Bohemians
46' - Second Half - Bohs get the seconds half under way, no changes on either side.
Bray Wanderers 1 - 1 Bohemians
45' - Half Time - And that's the half. 1-1.
Bray Wanderers 1 - 1 Bohemians
44' - Just one minute of injury time to play out after that moment of pause for Owen Heary to be treated and substituted.
Bray Wanderers 1 - 1 Bohemians
43' - Trundling towards the break here. It is not dull, it's actually quite interesting, there just haven't been any chances. The midfield battles are intriguing, with Bray sitting off slightly and letting Bohs pass in front of them. As soon as there is a lose touch John Mulroy and Dean Zambra are in with the toe, looking for Marty Waters or Adam Hanlon on the flanks. Yet they are both being well looked after at the moment by Derek Pender and Luke Byrne. Pender is proving much more mobile than Heary and Waters isn't getting as much joy. Both sets of central defenders have been relatively untroubled.
Bray Wanderers 1 - 1 Bohemians
39' - Other that the two goal chances, there havent really been any chances. Both teams have prodded, evenly, but nothing major has been created. Bohs are probably just having the better of it since their goal, looking sharp with quick passing, but they are lacking penetration.
Bray Wanderers 1 - 1 Bohemians
35' - Substitution - Bohemians Sub - A quick breather for Owen Heary to get some treatment. He was injured coming into the game and it looks like Derek Pender is on. Yes, confirmed: Derek Pender comes on for Owen Heary on the Bohemians side.
Bray Wanderers 1 - 1 Bohemians
31' - A Keith Ward corner from the right was cleared, but only back to him. He swung in a lovely cross, almost planting it straight on Dinny Corcoran's head. The striker made no mistake and firmly placed it to Darren Quigley's right before wheeling away in front of the away fans in celebration. 1-1.
Bray Wanderers 1 - 1 Bohemians
30' - Goal - Dinny Corcoran with an equaliser for Bohemians!
Bray Wanderers 1 - 0 Bohemians
26' - We're going to estimate 1,000 people here tonight. Both stands are healthily peopled. At the moment that number are watching Bray sit back slightly. Bohs are keeping the ball, with Peter McMahon probably the most lively. However, they are yet to hurt the Bray defence and Pat Devlin will be happy for them to have all the possession they want as long as his team are tight.
Bray Wanderers 1 - 0 Bohemians
23' - An even enough game so far but Bray are ahead through that Jason Byrne goal. He has scored six of the Seagulls' 12 goals so far this season. He's 34-years-old, but his legs were far younger than that for his dash towards goal a few minutes ago. And the finish really was cool as you could want.
Bray Wanderers 1 - 0 Bohemians
18' - Peter McMahon finds himself on the right endline and cuts it across. Darren Quigley seemed to slip but David Webster managed to get the ball clear in the face of danger. That was Bohs' best bit of play so far.
Bray Wanderers 1 - 0 Bohemians
15' - It was one of those long clearances hit with intent - Kevin Knight (or possibly Dean Zambra, I'll try to check) knew where he was whacking it to. Jason Byrne chased it from the left hand side, and he had Evan McMillan for pace, no problem, and put it in off the left stick from a tight angle, leaving Craig Sexton with no chance.
Bray Wanderers 1 - 0 Bohemians
14' - Goal - Jason Byrne with his sixth goal of the season! Like one from the old days!
Bray Wanderers 0 - 0 Bohemians
13' - This has been very bright so far, though neither team has created a clear cut opportunity. The sun shines from over the Sugarloaf, over the terraced houses just outside the home stand. This really is a League of Ireland postcard kind of evening.
Bray Wanderers 0 - 0 Bohemians
10' - A throw in for Bray is aimed for Danny O'Connor who is at the front post. He can't gather possession but it falls to John Mulroy. The striker turned midfielder whacks it but a clump of Bohs men block it out.
Bray Wanderers 0 - 0 Bohemians
8' - Dinny Corcoran picks up a lose ball right in the Bray area, but he can't do anything with it. The ball gets trapped under his feet before Bray clear him and the ball out.
Bray Wanderers 0 - 0 Bohemians
7' - Owen Heary could have a lot of problems with the pace of Marty Waters down his neck tonight, especially if he's carrying an injury. Any thoughts - get them to @CathalWogan on Twitter and I'll put them up here.
Bray Wanderers 0 - 0 Bohemians
3' - Marty Waters nearly in for Bray. The ball is cleared from defence but Adam Hanlon flicks it into space down the left flank. Waters breaks but is forced just wide enough to prevent him getting a good sight of goal. He cuts the ball across, just along the six yard box, but there is no onrushing danger and Bohs can play it own easily. Bright start.
Bray Wanderers 0 - 0 Bohemians
2' - People still arriving. I'd say we're at 800 now. Maybe. Tentative start, Bohs have the possession but nothing to report as yet except that my tummy hurts from eating too many Haribo jellies.
Bray Wanderers 0 - 0 Bohemians
1' - Kick-off - And Bray literally get the ball rolling, playing from right to left in front of me, towards Bray Bowl if that means anything to you.
Bray Wanderers 0 - 0 Bohemians
0' - The Ric Flair music comes on as the teams come out! Or the 2001: A Space Odyssey music. Or Carl Orff. Whatever way you want to look at it, it's game time.
Bray Wanderers 0 - 0 Bohemians
0' - Bohemians captain Owen Heary starts despite worries over a hip injury. Karl Moor is on the bench for the visitors. He's a very smart players who will surely make an appearance tonight, unless there is some sort of doubt over his fitness. I must say, with only a few minutes until kick-off, I'm disappointed in the crowd. We've got about 500 so far. And that's generous. Hopefully it fills up soon. Thought Bohs were supposed to be a big draw!
Bray Wanderers 0 - 0 Bohemians
0' - Not even a place on the Bray bench for Stephen Last tonight. I'd be taking a good hard look at Leinster Senior League sides if I were in his very clean boots. Meanwhile, on that very bench, Adam Mitchell and Sean Houston wonder what has them without starting places. They have been extremely important for Bray over the last year, but now find themselves second choice. How the pendulum swings.
Bray Wanderers 0 - 0 Bohemians
0' - About a quarter of an hour until one player will knock the ball very slightly forward after the referee's first whistle of the night, performing the ritual that begins soccer matches. Football matches begin with the ball being thrown up between the midfielders from the two teams present. In that sport, there are only two midfield players. Mad.
Bray Wanderers 0 - 0 Bohemians
0' - And there is the Bohs team up to your right. Both teams playing 4-5-1 formations you would think, though with their own distinctive variations as they defend and attack.
Bray Wanderers 0 - 0 Bohemians
0' - That's the Bray team up now - unchanged from last week's win against Monaghan United.
Bray Wanderers 0 - 0 Bohemians
0' - We've just got team sheets so hang onto your hats and I'll have them up as soon as possible. I'll do Bray first and then Bohs.
Bray Wanderers 0 - 0 Bohemians
0' - Interestingly, Aaron Callaghan expressed doubts about the conditions that the game would be played in leading up to this game. The following was reported from a Bohemians source: "The conditions at the Carlisle Grounds also present a very different challenge from that at Oriel Park, where Bohemians could keep up their quick passing on the artificial surface... Callaghan is hoping the wind off the sea does not play havoc with the game as it did in an under-19 match between the two clubs last Sunday." Now, for a club with a questionable playing surface, that aspires to play good sexy football on the ground, I personally found this a little rich. The surface in Bray is immaculate. I know that's easy for them, because they have so much money to look after the Carlisle and financially pressed clubs like Bohs don't have the same resources, but if you keep the ball on the ground then and play what you preach (unless there's a hurricane) then any team should be delighted to play at the Carlise Grounds. So there.
Bray Wanderers 0 - 0 Bohemians
0' - Exactly an hour until kick off here at the Carlisle Grounds in beautiful Bray, Ireland's most wonderful town in my humble opinion. I have a bag of Haribo starmix and a massive bar of milk chocolate. Delish. It's quite a pleasant evening, as it often is here before games. It will get cold later on. I know it's May, but trust me, it will. We're right beside the sea and I've never been to a game here and not been chilly by the end.
Bray Wanderers 0 - 0 Bohemians
0' - Hello everyone! I know there is plenty of time left before our game starts at the Carlisle Grounds tonight, but I just thought I'd open up proceedings. You can find me all evening on Twitter so get all your comments to me - @CathalWogan. That's also my name, which is handy. For now I'm just going to run and get supplies for the game. Haribo jellies I think. I'll get the teams to you as soon as I have them.
