Cork City 3 - 3 U.C.D
90' + 3' - Goal - It's a hat-trick for Davin O'Neill after an amazing mess up by Mark McGinley in the UCD goal. Groans in the press box as reports have to be completely re-written now!
Cork City 3 - 2 U.C.D
90' + 2' - Substitution - Cork Sub - Stephen Kenny comes on for Vinny Sullivan.
Cork City 3 - 2 U.C.D
90' - Four minutes to be added on.
Cork City 3 - 2 U.C.D
83' - Substitution - UCD Sub - Samir Belhout replaces Robbie Benson.
Cork City 3 - 2 U.C.D
81' - Bit of confusion here as Hugh Douglas has switched his shirt and is wearing number 27 instead of 13 - he was the one that handled the ball in the area for the penalty to be awarded.
Cork City 3 - 2 U.C.D
80' - Yellow Card - Hugh Douglas is booked for U.C.D.
Cork City 3 - 2 U.C.D
80' - Penalty - Penalty for Cork and Davin O'Neill puts it away. Amazing sixty seconds.
Cork City 2 - 2 U.C.D
79' - A free kick from Danny Ledwith is parried off the bar by Mark McNulty and Paul O'Conor hits the rebound home.
Cork City 2 - 2 U.C.D

Cork City 2 - 1 U.C.D
69' - Substitution - Cork Sub - Ian Turner replaces Daryl Horgan.
Cork City 2 - 1 U.C.D
64' - UCD have looked a much better side in the second half here but Mark McNulty hasn't really had to make a save - the students' efforts narrowly missing the target. However, Cork winger Daryl Horgan has had his cross-cum-shot from the right saved by Mark McGinley.
Cork City 2 - 1 U.C.D
57' - UCD enjoying a decent spell here, Paul O'Conor going close once again, although Vinny Sullivan has had a good chance saved by Mark McGinley.
Cork City 2 - 1 U.C.D
49' - Stinging shot from Gearóid Morrissey deflected over by David O'Connor.
Cork City 2 - 1 U.C.D
47' - Paul O'Conor hammers over from long range, though it takes a deflection and the students win a corner. I was always confused why Paul had just one n in his surname.
Cork City 2 - 1 U.C.D
46' - Substitution - UCD Sub - Ciaran Nangle comes on for Gary Burke.
Cork City 2 - 1 U.C.D
46' - Second Half - Second half has just started, Cork playing from left to right and the rain is still pouring down.

Cork City 2 - 1 U.C.D
45' - The half-time hit the crossbar efforts at Turner's Cross are getting worse every week - though the conditions are pretty poor. Discussion in the press box has turned to how Jaffa Cakes are NOT biscuits. What are your thoughts on the matter?
Cork City 2 - 1 U.C.D
45' - Half Time - Half-time - Cork City 2 UCD 1

Cork City 2 - 1 U.C.D
38' - Just as I comment on the lack of action, City are back in front. Tadhg Purcell feeds to Davin O'Neill and his shot is judged to have gone over the line despite a clearance from Michael Leahy. Both linesman and the referee Jim McKell had no hesitation in awarding it though.
Cork City 2 - 1 U.C.D
37' - Goal - Davin O'Neill scores for Cork City.
Cork City 1 - 1 U.C.D
35' - Nothing happening at all in front of either goal. City with perhaps a little bit more possession but they haven't done much with it.
Cork City 1 - 1 U.C.D
27' - Having some laptop troubles at the moment so updates are proving to be a little sparse but UCD are managing to keep the Cork threat at bay at present.
Cork City 1 - 1 U.C.D
24' - Hello to Crohan O'Shea and Edward Kennedy - two UCD fans who've tweeted messages of support for UCD @alansmith90. Their side haven't shown much attacking threat apart from the penalty but they're defending quite well at the moment.
Cork City 1 - 1 U.C.D
15' - Penalty - UCD have a penalty after John Dunleavy takes down Chris Lyons. It's taken by Graham Rusk... and he shoots low to the right and past McNulty in the City goal. We're level.
Cork City 1 - 0 U.C.D
13' - Goal - Cork City are ahead here. Daryl Horgan with the goal.
Cork City 0 - 0 U.C.D
9' - Vinny Sullivan shoots narrowly wide after taking down a long ball forward, his right-footed punt just off target. Good chance. It's been all the home team so far and, without sounding a little unfair, I can't really remember the students holding onto possession in the Cork half yet.
Cork City 0 - 0 U.C.D
7' - Scrappy enough opening, though Daryl Horgan has just mistimed a run into the box after a lovely through ball from Davin O'Neill on the left, while O'Neill has a strike cleared off the line.
Cork City 0 - 0 U.C.D
5' - City have stuck with the same system as last week's draw away to St Pat's. Dan Murray still out injured with a stomach injury and althoguh he's named on the bench, he's sitting in the stands.
Cork City 4 - 2 U.C.D
1' - Kick-off - And we're off, UCD playing left to right, not that it matters if you're not here and reading these updates instead. Anyway, to the game...
Cork City 0 - 0 U.C.D
0' - Teams are out on the pitch on a damp evening here at Turner's Cross. UCD in their away white strip, with Cork, of course, in their green strip.
Cork City 0 - 0 U.C.D
0' - It's wet and miserable here in Cork but the home side will look to continue their good unbeaten run as the second series of games get underway. Of course, they'll also be searching for some revenge after losing out to the students in Belfield on the opening day of the season. UCD are joint second last at present but a result tonight would bring them level with Cork. Let me know how you think the game will go @alansmith90 or emailing us at the usual address.
