FAI Cup quarter-final draw pits Shamrock Rovers against Cork City

Shamrock Rovers will host last year's beaten finalists Cork City in the pick of the ties thrown up by the FAI Cup quarter-final draw.

The Hoops – whose 0-0 draw with City in July turned out to be Pat Fenlon's last domestic game in charge – easily dispatched Athlone Town in the third round with a 5-0 win in Lissywollen.

Likewise, City brought an end to a five-game winless streak when they ran out comfortable 4-1 winners over last season's semi-finalists Longford Town at City Calling Stadium.

Holders Dundalk will travel to face UCD in Belfield should they overcome the last remaining non-league club, Crumlin United, at Oriel Park on Tuesday.

2014 Cup winners St Patrick's Athletic will host Cobh Ramblers at Richmond Park, while that year's beaten finalists Derry City travel to face Wexford Youths at Ferrycarrig Park.
